Mastermind who is always buried in his research, who hungers to know more, who never ever gets enough, can’t get enough
Mastermind who is cold, who is calculated, who doesn’t let his emotions get in the way of doing anything, who thinks them useless, who wants to be rid of them completely
Mastermind who builds drones, tons of them, who develops an intricate AI chip for Apocalypse, just so the laboratory doesn’t feel so empty all the time, just so he has someone to talk to, just so he has company
Mastermind who is cocky, who knows just how far he had gotten, just how strong he truly is, who doesn’t hesitate showing that he knows, all the time
Mastermind who spends hours upon hours cooped up in his laboratory, numb fingers typing out line and lines of code, who hasn’t slept for over a week, who’s trying his best to create a new AI but who keeps failing, failing, failing, who is irritated at his own incompetence, but who knows he’ll get it eventually. who always did, and will do it again
Mastermind who is curious about everything, to such a morbid degree that he doesn’t even bat an eye at dissecting anything and everything, who wants to know exactly how things work, at any cost
Mastermind who is so, so tired, no matter what he does. whose heath is down in the drain and who can’t do basic tasks without the help of his creations, who had basically traded his health for the sake of creating the best he ever could
Mastermind whose volumes are always up as much as possible, who can’t stand the silence any longer, who needs to have the constant hum and whirring of his computer and drones in the background else he can’t concentate, who can’t stay still when there’s silence for any amount of time, who uses anything available to him to ward it off because he can’t stand the memories of being isolated in the library anymore
Mastermind who keeps cracking sarcastic jokes and quips, whose ego doesn’t allow him to admit he isn’t doing well, who will grin and comment in a snarky tone even if there are bags under his eyes and his limbs feel like lead and all he wants to do is topple over, who feel like he’ll collapse any moment but is unable to say anything at all, doesn’t want to show weakness
